The skirt seems to lie and be fairly straight but it is really quite full so if you do a twirl aka Studio 54 style you will be quite exposed

It is sequined almost head to toe however the fabric behind it is actually a metallic thread lame with eyelash fringe portions to it. This keeps it very light weight and also supple while still allowing it to appear structured. The dress has a black velvet bodice that is simply cut and has a high waistline. The skirt is a simple A line.
