This dress is so adorable in person it makes me happy to just look at it

The silk jersey drapes fantastically and the back base has a beautiful turquoise sea green print that pops

The skirt is full and has flat pleats worked into it to give it maximum movement

The shoulders are strong and cut that way to emphasize the nipped in waist of the jacket. Cirling the upper bodice of the jacket is an additional panel of fabric giving it a nod to the classic trench coat in feel. It is cut with that classic hourglass
