It has two focus setting buttons for a) close shots and b) very distant shots but for anything in between just press the button. The flash operates in close up mode so this camera is pretty foolproof. It also has a useful sliding "clam shell" cover design to protect the lens when the camera is not in use, and a self timer. Skill level: Beginner.
